It seems whenever Spurs have a big game coming up the newspapers link one of the North London club’s players with a big transfer somewhere.
This time it’s Gareth Bale, who according to The Mirror has been watched by Spanish giants Barcelona seven times.
Apparently the La Liga club’s sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has been in contact with Gareth’s agents to see if a deal could be done.
The winger has already been linked with Manchester City, who were said to be willing to pay £50 million, Barca were allegedly willing to pay just £40 million.
It has already been reported that Spurs would want £150 million, so unless clubs start talking serious money, Gareth Bale is going nowhere.
