Time to go, Martin

Martin JolTo lose at home to anyone is, in my opinion, unacceptable. To lose to Arsenal 3-1 at home, is far beyond that.

Both sides had many chances, however, it was the away side that took advantage of Spurs’ poor defending.

Paul Robinson made some very good saves. He’s been getting a lot of stick lately, but his performance on Saturday was up to par.

Gareth Bale’s free-kick was fantastic, just what we’ve been missing for countless years. It’s a pity another new signing in Darren Bent couldn’t have shown his ability when he had only the ‘keeper to beat – instead he fluffed it big time.

The result is disappointing and shows we’re not up to finishing in the top four. I think it’s time Martin Jol put the speculation about his future to rest and did the honourable thing and resign, as it’s my opinion that he has taken us as far as he can.
