Tottenham Hotspur managed to somehow pull off a 1-0 win at Watford and make it into the next round of the FA Cup, this was without Gareth Bale, who was out with a thigh injury.

\nOn the winger’s injury, Spurs manager Harry Redknapp told The Sun newspaper: “He picked it up in training two days before the match. He felt it a bit but it’s not too bad.”<\/p>\n
The North London club could certainly have done with the width and pace of the Welshman, they did bring on Aaron Lennon in the second half, which did improve a rather sloppy performance by the Premier League club.<\/p>\n
