I’m very much liking of what I’m seeing of Luka Modric. In Croatia’s 2-1 win over Germany, the midfielder shone with his ability on the ball and passing.<\/p>\n
Due to Croatia playing five in midfield, Modric had chances to forward and got in the box a few times, even in the latter stages of the game, showing what good stamina he’s got.<\/p>\n
With Germany being a tall physical side, I did wonder how Modric would cope, however he got stuck in and showed he’s not such a lightweight despite his small stature.<\/p>\n
Modric did get tackles in too, and was even booked for a two footed challenge – unfairly in my opinion.<\/p>\n
Costing Spurs nearly \u00c2\u00a317m, I think we paid way too much, however we’ve lacked a player since Michael Carrick who can get on the ball and control midfield. In Modric, I think he can do that job brilliantly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
