The summer transfer window is fast approaching, and Jose Mourinho will be looking at this as the best possible time to reshape the team in his desired way. Mourinho was only able to bring in Steven Bergwijn and Gedson Fernandes as new recruits in the winter transfer window. However, he was also able to finalise the deal to bring Giovani Lo Celso to North London on a permanent basis.

There will be questions over the summer months regarding the
long-term future of many of the Tottenham first-team stars, with Harry Kane and
Jan Vertonghen both reportedly weighing up their options. Meanwhile, there are
questions revolving around Mourinho’s desire to keep Tanguy Ndombele at the
club, as the manager is unconvinced by the record signing. It could be a huge
summer, but who do the bookmakers think will be heading to Spurs over the close
season?

The Brazilian midfielder will be one of the players on the
move this summer, as Barcelona look unlikely to give the former Liverpool man
another chance. He has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich, and he
impressed during Tottenham’s game against him this season. Coutinho would certainly
bring with him a star quality that Spurs currently lack following the departure
of Christian Eriksen, and his Premier League experience would also be an asset.

Coutinho’s prowess is in creating chances for the team, as
he has already recorded six assists this season in the Bundesliga. Bayern look
unlikely to make the deal a permanent one in the summer as they instead have
the eyes locked on bringing in Kai Havertz. Spurs could be the big
beneficiaries of that.

Chelsea’s Brazilian winger is a player that will be familiar
to both Mourinho and Spurs. Tottenham famously came within minutes of signing
the winger from Shakhtar Donetsk before he eventually decided to join Chelsea
instead. By making that decision, he opted to join Mourinho at Chelsea, and the
two immediately had a good relationship.

In that first campaign in England, he scored four goals in
all competitions and has become an integral part of the Chelsea team throughout
the last seven seasons. However, his contract is due to expire at the end of
this season, which means he could finally link up with Spurs. Mourinho wants to
play wingers, but at present, he is void of options as Mauricio Pochettino very
rarely operated with that system. Willian wouldn’t require a transfer fee, and
that means the deal looks likely.

Tottenham’s admiration for Jack Grealish has been heavily
documented. The Englishman came close to joining the North London side before
the start of the 2018-19 season. The Villa man was close to the exit at Villa Park
due to the financial situation at the club, which meant Spurs nearly completed
the move for just £6 million. Grealish has impressed during this season and has
scored seven goals.

He is likely to be named in the England squad for the rescheduled European Championships next year, but that will hinge on whether he is playing Premier League football next season. However, different UK bookmakers make Spurs the outsiders to get the attacking midfielder, as his most likely destination will be Manchester United.

The summer transfer window is fast approaching, and Jose Mourinho will be looking at this as the best possible time to reshape the team in […]

[7
226,295,188,293,163,209,294
post-1582","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tottenham-hotspur","tag-jack-grealish","tag-philippe-coutinho","tag-spurs","tag-spurs-news","tag-tottenham-hotspur","tag-transfer-news","tag-willian
