England have continued to show in recent years that they are a side
which have slowly been trying to forget about the Euros in 2016. Within that
squad, which went to France four years ago, were five Spurs players.

Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, and Harry Kane made sure
Spurs were the most represented club within the England camp heading to France.

Despite the shock exit to Iceland in the round of 16, all five of these
players have continued to pull on the famous Three Lions shirt since. Harry
Kane, in particular, now proudly wears the captain’s armband since Wayne
Rooney’s retirement – and he’s en route to beating him to the record top
goalscorer for England.

Harry Kane has been a breath of fresh air since Wayne Rooney announced his retirement. Many thought that, once the former Manchester United striker moved on, England would struggle to replace him, but it’s been far from that.
Harry Kane won the Golden Boot at the last World Cup, including scoring a hat trick against Panama in the group stages.
He is now 21 goals away from knocking Wayne Rooney off the top spot and it is highly likely this will be achieved in the next few years, if he is able to stay fit and continue to lead the line in such incredible fashion – as he has been doing since bursting on the scene.
