Since joining Tottenham in the summer of 2013 from Ajax for £11 million, Christian Eriksen has been an integral part of rise of the Lilywhites from also rans to regular challenges domestically and even on the European stage.

It is twinged with regret then that it seems the club and Eriksen’s
relationship appears to be souring as the Dane’s contract runs down and there
seems to be no silver lining as it appears Eriksen’s future lays elsewhere.

New manager Jose Mourinho has not held back in his
assessment of the Eriksen situation either making it quite clear the former
Ajax star can expect plenty of time on the sidelines as the gaffer looks to
those players who are sticking with Spurs for the long term.

That attitude from Mourinho is likely to down well fans as
the long term is clearly on the Portuguese superstar’s mind.

Already a number of fans seem resigned to losing Eriksen and
seemingly happily see the 27-year-old get out of the club sooner rather than
later with some saying they hope Mourinho continues to drop Eriksen and that he
is then sold in January.

Barring a quite remarkable turnaround, Christian Eriksen’s
time in North London will becoming to an end sooner rather than later in poor
circumstances which is a shame considering the undoubted contribution he has
made to Tottenham’s turnaround.

Eriksen may almost certain to be leaving Tottenham but one
NOT coming in is Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 38-year-old has a very close relationship with Jose Mourinho
with the pair having worked together at both Inter Milan and Manchester United
with respect high among the two.

Following Mourinho’s appointment last week, it was quickly
rumoured that Jose would be keen to bring Zlatan back to the Premier League but
he quickly quashed those rumours by saying he already has the ‘best striker in England’
referring to Harry Kane of course.

Since joining Tottenham in the summer of 2013 from Ajax for £11 million, Christian Eriksen has been an integral part of rise of the Lilywhites […]

[179
287,244
post-1510","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-christian-eriksen","tag-jose-mourinho

No to Zlatan
