Great news is that Aaron Lennon has signed a new five-and-a-half year deal at White Hart Lane. The England winger has been in good form this season. I just hope he can stay clear of injury as then he can then continue his progress.

Spurs manager Martin Jol told his club’s official website: “Aaron has taken his chances and made himself into a regular First Team player in a short space of time and we often forget how young he still is. He is a prime example of the exciting young talent we are attracting to the Club.”

Lennon added: “I’m feeling really settled here at the Club and I’m thoroughly enjoying my football. There is a terrific spirit in the squad and we have everything to play for this season.”
