If you were to ask any Tottenham fan what their most
unwanted footballing sights are, the answer will more often than not be Arsenal
winning a trophy and then a close second would undoubtedly be Harry Kane
wincing in discomfort.

A sight that was on full display during January’s defeat to
Manchester United at Wembley. In the dying seconds of the game, the World Cup
Golden Boot winner suffered another ankle injury and with that every Spurs fan
assumed the worst.

A campaign that was just getting up a head of steam would
then see its momentum curtailed in an instant and any hopes of entering this
season’s Premier League title race, were now very much up in smoke

Or were they? Thanks to the heroic efforts of South Korean
international Hueng-min Son, the club have won their last four league outings
and this run has subsequently left them hanging neatly on the coattails of both
Manchester City and Liverpool.

All this you must remember without Harry Kane and the fact
that he has returned to training this week will be music to the ears of
Tottenham supporters, at the same time it is arguably the news that Burnley
fans will not want to hear.

The England international looks primed and ready to be
unleashed on Sean Dyche’s men come Saturday lunchtime and the question is just
how many minutes manager Mauricio Pochettino feels is necessary to give to him
against the Clarets.

He may well feel as many as possible, especially as Burnley
have turned the corner as of late. 12 points from their last 18, has seen them
put some daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.

And with this run of form behind them, they will be a tough
nut to crack and therefore it might just need a Harry Kane shaped sledgehammer
to make sure that the job is done. Should that be the case, then a win will
only boost Tottenham’s late quest for the title.
