Gareth Bale has missed out on two awards this week, coming second in both.
The first one was for Tottenham Hotspur’s Player of the Month. That one went to the very impressive Scott Parker, who has been fantastic for Spurs this season with his all-action displays. The 31-year-old midfielder got 42.1% of the vote, compared to a very respectable 29.6% for Gareth.
The second poll by GiveMeFootball was to find out who the best winger was. With 22,000 people voting the result was fairly close with Chelsea winger Juan Mata coming out on top with 26%. Gareth wasn’t far behind with 22%.
