Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a January move for VfL Wolfsburg forward Wout Weghorst, according to a report from Sport BILD.
The 28-year-old striker, who came through the youth ranks at Dutch outfit DETO, has been impressive since joining the German outfit in 2018, contributed 20 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions while registering five assists.
The Netherlands international has been able to continue in the same run of form in the current season, having already scored eleven goals in 15 fixtures.
Spurs had been credited with an interest in the Dutchman back in the summer as the Lilywhites was in the market for a new striker. However, no move happened as the club ended up signing Carlos Vinicius on a season-long loan from SL Benfica.
But, it is now being reported that the Premier League giants remain interested in the Bundesliga star and are lining up a January swoop.
The report goes on to claim that Wolfsburg have an agreement with Weghorst to let him leave in the mid-season transfer window, provided an offer of around €35.
