Spurs vs SC Braga

Huge game later today against SC Braga. We did exceptionally well against them to win 3-2 away in the first leg. Now, we know what we’re dealing with, therefore fingers crossed we’ll finish the job off at White Hart Lane.

Anthony Gardner is out for six weeks with a hairline fracture of the fibula. Jermaine Jenas, Ledley King, Danny Murphy, Paul Robinson and Benoit Assou-Ekotto continue to be out too.

Great news is that Robbie Keane returns after recovering from an ankle injury. Whether he should start with so many games coming in the next week, I’m not so sure. Defore did show signs of his old self in the FA Cup quarter-final draw with Chelsea, especially when running at players, so perhaps we should persevere with him. Otherwise I think the only changes Jol may make will be Chimbonda replacing Stalteri and perhaps a change in midfield.

If we can keep a clean sheet, we will go through. Problem is that’s something we’ve failed to do in the last five games.
