Spurs have today been linked with quite a few players – as is the norm for the close season.
First off is Lyon striker Loic Remy. It’s unclear who the actual source is, but Sky Sports are reporting it as “it is said”.
Remy is 21 years old and has only made 12 appearances in two years. He must be good!
Another report claims Cruzeiro striker Marcelo Moreno would be interested in a move to White Hart Lane.
Spurs reportedly had a bid knocked back for the Bolivian international.
The striker reportedly told the Brazilian media: “I was told about the offer made by Tottenham. Of course I would like to play in England but as I said before, I have to like the place where I will be. The club has to get to an agreement with my agent and from what I know what has been offered wasn’t enough.”
L’Equipe report that Juande Ramos yesterday met with Barcelona representatives in Spain over the transfer of Samuel Eto’o. Apparently Spurs are willing to pay the staggering asking price of £31m, however, not willing to pay the Cameroon international’s high wages.
Defender Younes Kaboul could be moving to the South Coast after Portsmouth made an enquiry.
Kaboul’s agent Rudy Raba told Setanta Sports: “Portsmouth have called Tottenham. Now we are waiting for Tottenham to respond.”
Finally, according to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace youngster John Bostock will join Spurs in a deal that could go up to £5m.
