Sporting Events Taking Place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2024

In 2024, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is set to host a dazzling array of sporting events. With everything from football to rugby and NFL on offer, North London sports fans are going to be spoilt for choice!

It goes without saying that there’s a steady line-up of home games for Spurs fans across the season. These include hosting Man City for the FA Cup, as well as Premier League matches against Brentford, Brighton, Wolves, Crystal Palace, Luton Town, Notts Forest, Arsenal, Burnley and Man City.

But, there’s also a great selection of non-football sports events scheduled to take place. For example, while England’s rugby team will still host Ireland at Twickenham, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is still set to host a couple of exciting rugby chases.

Kicking off the year, the stadium will welcome English premiership rugby’s Saracens  and Harlequins for ‘The Showdown 4’ on 23rd March 2024. The previous showdowns have seen Saracens face off against rivals, drawing large crowds and creating an atmosphere that’s not-to-be-missed.

Following this, the EPCR Challenge Cup Final is scheduled for Friday, 24th May. This event is a significant part of global rugby, showcasing some of the best talent and teams from across Europe and South Africa. The final promises to be a high-stakes match, given the quality of clubs that compete in this tournament and the prestige of the trophy.

The next day, the Investec Champions Cup Final will take place on Saturday, 25th May. The Champions Cup is one of the most prestigious club rugby competitions in the world, featuring top-tier European clubs. It’s a highlight event for rugby fans, offering an opportunity to see some of the sport’s best players and teams compete for the coveted trophy.

If this wasn’t enough, the stadium will also host two NFL games in October, featuring the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings. These games are part of the NFL’s ongoing commitment to hosting regular season games outside the United States, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been a favoured venue since it was built. The stadium’s design, which includes a retractable pitch, makes it uniquely suitable to host American football, introducing British audiences to the US’s biggest sport.

With its advanced facilities and strategic location, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium continues to attract a variety of high-profile events, contributing significantly to the cultural and sporting fabric of London. Which of these great sporting clashes will you attend this year?
