There’s conflicting reports surrounding Vedran Corluka’s move from Manchester City to Spurs.
City had announced via a statement that the Croatian was to stay at Eastlands after a heart-to-heart with manager Mark Hughes, however, the player’s agent is now saying the defender still wants to move to Tottenham.
Corluka’s agent reportedly told The Sun: “Vedran is very unhappy with the events of the last few days. He still wants to go to Tottenham.
“He had a medical and agreed personal terms with them over the weekend.
“Vedran hopes the situation can be resolved soon so he can resume his career at Tottenham.”
Earlier, City manager Mark Hughes had told his club’s official website: “I am a huge admirer of Vedran. He is a top class player with a bright future ahead of him and I am delighted that he continues to be a part of our plans at Manchester City.
“It is a real boost for everyone at the Club. Vedran is a great lad and I am really looking forward to working with him over the coming seasons.”
