I can’t believe the FA have once again turned down an appeal, this time over Didier Zokora’s sending off at Manchester City. It was very clear that is was in no way shape or form a red card, therefore how can the FA back the decision as ‘serious foul play’?
This is twice that the FA have let us down – the previous time was when Robbie Keane was sent off in the Birmingham City defeat. That time is was a yellow card at most.
Like Robbie, Zokora will be miss three matches. The ban starts this Saturday against Arsenal.
Talking of Arsenal, they will be our opponents in the semi-finals of the League Cup. The first leg is away on the 9th of January. Hopefully this year we can get a good result away and then finish them off at White Hart Lane.
